Dr. David Suaka Yaro

Dr. David Suaka Yaro is a distinguished Peace and Security analyst, accomplished researcher, and esteemed Senior Lecturer at CK Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Navrongo.

Presently, he serves as the coordinator of the esteemed Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CPCS) at the University, showcasing his pivotal role in advancing the field.

His academic journey is marked by his rigorous pursuit of knowledge and expertise. Dr. Yaro holds a Ph.D. degree in Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies from the prestigious University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa.

He further attained an MA and a B.A. (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha, South Africa, demonstrating his international academic exposure.

Complementing this, he holds an HND in Statistics from Tamale Polytechnic in Tamale, Ghana. His foundation in education is solidified by his training as a teacher at Bagabaga College of Education in Tamale, Ghana.

Dr. Yaro’s scholarly pursuits and research interests encompass a range of critical subjects. His focus lies primarily in the domains of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, critical security, and conflict escalation.
